We made it to TT Seaside. Upon checking in the employee noted that there has been allot of rain this past week and there could be puddles and mud. He wasn't kidding. The site we were assigned was muddy and swamped at the entrance to the site. The weather forecast if for sunshine and clear skies this coming week. Although, last night it rained almost the entire evening and into mid morning.
Still no hot water heater in the coach. We have replaced the circuit board three times, all with boards made in China. The original went bad. The following two were bad out of the packaging. We are now awaiting one made in America. Chinese junk you can get in a day. American goods take three days. Go figure. Let's hope this one does the trick. Still trying to figure out what is causing the the inverter to randomly cut off. When we were in Tillamook it would be happening several times a day. Here in Seaside it has occurred once or twice a day. Our technician thinks it would be an issue with to much heat being generated under the bed where all the electronics are located. There is a fan under there but it made be inefficient. Looking at adding an additional 12volt fan in hopes that will help.
Looking forward to some warmer weather with less rain. The forecast is promising but knowing the PNW it's not always that accurate. We had a nice dinner the other night and the Pig n Pancake. Laurie and I shared a seafood platter and still had leftovers to bring back. The laundry here at the park does not open until 0900 so we went to a local laundromat. The manager was in there doing some laundry and had a Spanish music station BLASTING inside. No heat either. There were two others there doing their laundry and must have been locals, shorts and sandals with no socks. We ended up sitting in the car with the heater on. Arizona wimps, ha ha.
The American made PCB showed up this morning. Leon with 5 Rivers Rv repair, who’s been working the issue since we were in Tillamook brought it up, installed and viola, it works. Both in Gas and electric mode. It hs been running now for a littile over an hour and we have nice hot water from all our faucets. Keeping fingers crossed for a day or so the see if it remains working with no issues. Leon will take care of sending all the proper paperwork to Jayco for the reimbursement and I will work with them on getting repaid. All I need to do right now is fill out the warranty card for the board and get it off to the manufacturer. So, off to the Post Office I go.
I what appears to be our last sunny day while in Seaside has arrived and we took the opportunity visit the beach once again. It was very cool, (50°) with a 10mph westerly wind, so we were somewhat bundled up. The tide was out and there were many clam diggers and a few surf fishers on the beach. Gabby had fun running around and getting some extended exercise out from just going on a pee n poop run. Some videos/pics below.
After coming back from the beach on our way to our site we ran across two ladies walking in what we thought from a distance was a goat. It turns out it was a sheep. She called it a Katahdin sheep. She stated she raises them as assisted living animals in homes for memory lapsed individuals. This one was 3 weeks old and so cute. Pictures below

Our visit to the beach on one of the few days where there was sunshine.
We found an almost buried ball. We dug it up and thought Gabby would play with it. Apparently not.

Cool sunny day with a slight breeze. Clam diggers and surf fishers with the tide out.
Surf fishers and clam diggers.
Clamming but not allot of success. They told us that it was better early in the morning.
